Only 5 days til Christmas

and I'm feeling sad. One of my cats is very ill and will have to be put to sleep soon. I woke up this morning with a tear rolling down my face and my thoughts were of him. It so hard to do this anyway but at Christmas its much worse. I spend most of today crying for him. But I do have wonderful memories of him to cherish always. His name is Jerry. He know how to fetch his favorite cat toy. His nickname is bear because when he was a tiny little kitten my dog was walking by him and he stood on his hind legs and looked just like a bear trying to attack the dog. Needless to say the dog just kept walking.

I got him at a house with a free kitten sign, they had one left. He was a very ugly kitten and I really didn't want him at first but then I realized the people where leaving him outside by himself and there were more flea's on him, than his tiny body could hold. We brought him home. I remember giving him a flea bath in the kitchen sink and he was hissing at me and my husband said you may hate her now but you will love her later and he really did. He is kinda like a dog, whenever my husband or I would come home, we would great us in the driveway. We have had twelve wonderful years with him. We will miss my always.

Sorry to be such a downer but I had to share this.

Oh Deb, what a terrible time for you. It is an awful decision to make but I know you will do the right thing for Jerry.
